The Social Media Manager at Campfire is a key role responsible for ensuring the strategic planning, execution, and optimisation of organic social media campaigns across platforms. This role will require you to work within a fast-growing social media team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven environment.
The Social Media Manager will be accountable for the overall performance of social campaigns, ensuring that we are driving performance, innovation, and aligning with the overarching brand strategies. You will have a strong understanding of trends, and know how best to activate them across platforms.
At its core, this role combines execution, creativity, and leadership, ensuring that all social efforts not only meet but exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Management & Optimisation:
- Lead the dynamic management of multiple clients’ social media campaigns, ensuring all posts, content, and initiatives are on track and delivering strong results.
- Stay deeply aligned with client objectives - adjust social strategies as needed to meet evolving goals and benchmarks.
- Track KPIs in real-time, optimising campaigns and delivering strategic recommendations to both clients and internal teams.
- Oversee the creation of detailed performance reports and case studies that showcase campaign success and highlight areas for improvement.
Creative Ideation & Innovation:
- Drive the creation of engaging content calendars that align with client goals and platform trends.
- Lead your team in staying ahead of trends - foster creative workshops that push the boundaries of social content.
- Oversee a test and learn framework to unlock fresh ideas and drive continuous campaign improvements and innovation.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability—lead by example and empower the team to think outside the box.
- Manage team workflows efficiently, ensuring smooth execution of all social activities while prioritising impactful projects.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Creative & Strategic Expertise:
Deep knowledge of social platforms and trends, turning insights into actionable strategies. Skilled copywriter, adaptable to various tones and audiences, with a forward-thinking approach to innovation.
Leadership & Team Development:
Effective leader, confident at mentoring and motivating teams. Strong in setting objectives, providing feedback, and solving problems to ensure consistent growth.
Organisation & Project Management:
Expert in managing time, prioritising tasks, and overseeing complex campaigns with attention to detail and efficiency.
Communication & Accountability:
Strong communicator with a focus on transparency and leading by example. Proactive, adaptable, and always striving to exceed expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, either in house or from an agency.
- Genuine passion for crafting engaging, original content and storytelling on social platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter) and their best practices.
- Exceptional written communication skills, capable of creating compelling captions and posts.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- A creative thinker with a dynamic, outgoing personality.
- Strong interest in staying up-to-date with and adapting to social media trends.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Sprinklr, Emplifi, etc.
